Virtual School Update

Ethan KayMission Viejo Montessori

Dear MVM Families,

Thank you for your patience as we adjust our schedule. Due to the current state-wide stay-home order, our campus will remain closed until further notice. We never like restricting access to our campus, but sometimes we don’t have another choice. Unfortunately, this is one of those times.

During this extended closure we are working in conjunction with one of our sister schools to continue providing your child and family with support and education through Virtual School! Should you choose to not participate in Virtual School, you have the option to hold your child’s space for the month of April with a non-refundable retainer fee: $100 for your first child and $50 per sibling. If you have any questions, please contact Joleen Reis via email at Joleen.reis@prece.com

Virtual School:
You are invited to participate in a free trial from Monday, April 6, 2020 – April 30, 2020. Our first day of Virtual School is Monday, April 6, 2020. Our sister school, Montessori Greenhouse, is using Zoom for live face-to-face sessions and direct email to provide printable materials and homework assignments.

To enroll:
• Please fill out and submit the Virtual School enrollment form by Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

Once you have enrolled:
• First day of Virtual School is April 6, 2020. Please ensure your child has access to a device with a camera, microphone capabilities, and internet access for face-to-face meetings.
• You will receive an email with the Virtual School schedule. This will consist of your first Zoom meeting links and resources to get you started.

We are looking forward to the day when we can resume our regular activities and events together on campus. We strive to keep our MVM families strong and maintain our community connections with each other while protecting everyone’s health and safety. We will continue to update you as circumstances change. You can also find up to date information along with resources on our website at www.prece.com

With Care,
